Campbell Lake Hiking Trail, Harrison Hot Springs, B.C.
Time: 5 hours round trip
Elevation gain: 2300 ft
Difficulty: medium
Description: This is a forest hike with good views of Harrison Lake at the top. We will not actually hike all the way to the lake. The plan is to go to a helicopter pad at the high point of the hike and then turn around after all the scenic shots have been taken.
Photos: Photos coming soon
How to get there:
The trail starts very close to Harrison Hotsprings village. To reach the trailhead, drive north on highway 9 (Harrison Hot Springs road) 5.7 km from its junction with highway 7, then turn left into the small parking space opposite Balsam Avenue and behind the signboard with statistical information about the trail. I don't know if the sign is there, but the parking space is in full view of the road.
See event description on calendar page for pre-departure meeting place for when the club is doing this hike next.
