Description

Taggart Peak is a great year-round hike. When hiking in the winter it will be steep and slippery in some spots. Some people like to use yak-traks or micro spikes for this section.
After the first 50 minutes, you will arrive at a lookout where you can catch your breath before moving on. The trail levels out, but still has a few up and down sections, but the majority of the steep sections are done.
