Ford Mountain Hike, April 24, 2010
Description
Planed destination is the top. There may be snow so wear boots (gaiters may be useful depending on most recent snow fall.) Snow shoes are not needed unless significant snow fall prior to April 24th. (This would change the hike to "Difficult" status due to steep sections in snow /snowshoes and significant increased distance travelled) In the two weeks leading up to the hike we'll confirm that we have enough 4 wheel drive vehicles to car pool with. Limit 12 people dependant on adequate seats (with seatbelts) available. Please post in comments of this event if you have a 4x4, can bring it, and can drive others in carpool to the trailhead. Mention how many you can take in your 4x4. We can only take as many people as there are seatbelts in 4x4's provided.
