Description

A great time to hike the Heather Trail is late June to Early July. This is when most of the alpine flowers come into bloom, giving photographers ample opportunity to fill up their memory cards. This is basically an easier hike through alpine and patches of high elevation forest. There is no water until Buckhorn camp.
